Skull & Shackles
Half-elves do not necessarily have one human and one elf parent (although that is still possible and does happen), but rather the average half-elf simply has both human and elven ancestry. Often taken traits of both races, half-elves tend to be a little taller than humans but not as pale as elves. They have more human eyes and their ears are pointed, they’re not as long as their elven ancestors. Being a member of both races but neither at the same time, half-elves sometimes struggle to find acceptance in society being seen as outsiders. Most times however a half-elf will be able to find a place for themselves either among elves or humans, depending on which half of the ancestry they prefer.
